About the charity Orpheus was founded in 1998 in Godstone, Surrey, by Sir Richard Stilgoe. It was set up as a residential care home, providing a small group of young disabled adults with ad hoc performing arts and life skills sessions. Orpheus provides supported housing and a diverse curriculum of performing arts, independence, functional and life skills to over 40 young disabled adults every year. They have 26 tenants currently living at Orpheus in their new supported housing and 39 students accessing their learning programme on a full- or part-time basis, with more students nationwide taking part in our short courses. We have organised several corporate and open events for Orpheus since 2012 and have organised the following open challenges for you to join and raise funds for this worthy charity!
